Our beloved Jalpaiguri Polytechnic Institute has reached it's milestone of its Dimond Jubilee Celebration. A meeting between Institute , current students and Ex-Students representative ON 24th July 2025.
MOM OF THE MEETING ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Meeting with the principal regarding the 75th year celebration, along with JPI lectures and present year students, was conducted in a very cordial manner. The meeting ended on a very positive note. All objectives were fulfilled and It was very satisfying and successful meeting. A record note of discussion .
: The main agreed points regarding the 75th year celebration are as under.
1. The 75th year celebration will be a official one.
2. Tentative date is 24th and 25th Jan 2026.
3. Structure of the organising committee has been finalised
4. There will 22 representatives from present year student , 20 representatives will be from JPI lecturers and 15 will be from ex-students.
5. Mr. Chinmoy Saha, lecturers at Mech. Dept will be the convener of the community
6. There will be various sub committees.
7. JPI will provide about 75 nos accommodation during the reunion.
8. Tentative budget is about 15 L
9. JPI management will provide about 2.5 lakh for the reunion.
10. Present year students agreed to contribute rs. 400/350. Which will be mandatory in nature.
11. JPI will organise various programmes to commemorate the 75th year throughout the year.
12. A bank account will be opened to regulate the cash receipts and cash flow. Mr. Rajiv Routh and Mr. Dilip Chakraborty will be the signatory from Ex- Students. JPI Principa and Org. Committee Convener will be the other two signatories. At least two signatories are required to draw the amount.
